Nano Banana Pro + Kling 3.0 - bringing a fossil bird back to life
A living Archaeopteryx walks in and hands over a black sling bag, then its fossil logo lands
In today's "animal frames" series I did a test spot styled on Arc'teryx's look. A woman in a royal-blue shell walks into a white studio, an Archaeopteryx glides and steps in with a black sling bag in its beak, and the fossil logo lands on the wall at the end. Arc'teryx isn't a client, this was a test. Their logo is an Archaeopteryx fossil, so the angle was easy: show the living animal first, then the skeleton.
Here's my exact process.
1. Plain studio
Prompt only for the first image: white room, tall window off to the left, long shadows on the floor. Then a quick second pass to change the cement floor to white.

Exact prompt
Create a new photorealistic image. This is a photograph taken inside a minimalist white studio from the start — not a composite. Shoot the whole space natively, with a single unified natural light source across every surface. THE VIBE: Austere, hushed, expensive emptiness — the pared-back quiet-luxury minimalism of a high-fashion campaign set before anything is placed in it. The room feels intellectual and cool, precise but not sterile, where the quality of light and the fall of a shadow are the only events. Stillness and generous negative space. THE SETTING: A clean, modern white studio — a seamless matte-white cyclorama sweep curving gently from floor to wall with no visible seam, its surface carrying the faintest real texture and tonal variation so it reads as painted plaster, not a flat digital void. A polished pale microcement floor with a soft satin sheen, subtle and almost imperceptible reflections. One tall floor-to-ceiling window just out of frame to the left. Architectural, uncluttered, refined proportions. THE LIGHT: Soft directional daylight raking in low from the left through the unseen window, casting long, clean, elongated geometric shadows across the white sweep and floor — the crisp diagonal of a window frame and mullions stretched across the wall. Gentle falloff from bright highlight to soft grey shadow, smooth gradients, no harsh clipping. Cool-neutral white balance with the faintest warmth where the sun lands. THE KEY DETAILS: The natural window-cast shadows are the subject — long, soft-edged diagonal bars and a rectangle of light on the floor. Delicate dust motes suspended in the light shaft. Subtle tonal gradation across the seamless wall. THE MOOD: Editorial, muted, cold-clinical calm with a breath of warmth. Restrained luxury. A clean neutral grade, whites held just off pure white, soft grey shadows, nothing oversaturated. THE COMPOSITION: Wide architectural frame, eye level, straight-on and balanced. Vast negative space with the shadows placed on a rule-of-thirds diagonal as the leading lines; low emphasis, open airy upper frame. THE CAMERA: Cinematic editorial architectural still — wide framing, eye-level straight position, deep focus with everything sharp edge to edge, lit exclusively by the single window daylight source with no studio strobes and no artificial separation, a clean cool-neutral naturalistic grade in the vein of Roger Deakins' understated natural light. Light falls off gently toward the frame edges. Hyperreal, tactile, every surface present.

Exact prompt
Create a new photorealistic image, but the floor is now white. Preserve everything else from the reference exactly — the seamless matte-white cyclorama wall, the soft low directional daylight from the left, the long clean geometric window-cast shadows, the composition, framing, grade and mood all stay identical. THE FLOOR (CHANGED): The floor is now a clean matte white, continuous with the seamless white cyclorama sweep so wall and floor read as one unbroken white surface, no visible seam. A soft satin sheen with subtle, almost imperceptible reflections, the faintest real texture and tonal variation so it reads as painted plaster rather than a flat digital void — never pure clipped white. THE SETTING (LOCKED): The minimalist white studio, the seamless curving cyclorama, the tall floor-to-ceiling window just out of frame to the left. Do NOT redesign the environment. THE LIGHT (LOCKED): Soft directional daylight raking in low from the left, casting long, clean, elongated geometric window-frame and mullion shadows across the white sweep and now the white floor, with gentle falloff to soft grey and smooth gradients. Cool-neutral white balance with the faintest warmth where the sun lands. Delicate dust motes in the light shaft. THE MOOD (LOCKED): Editorial, muted, cold-clinical calm with a breath of warmth, restrained luxury, clean neutral grade, whites held just off pure white. THE COMPOSITION (LOCKED): Wide architectural frame, eye level, straight-on, vast negative space, the shadows on a rule-of-thirds diagonal as leading lines, open airy upper frame. THE CAMERA (LOCKED): Cinematic editorial architectural still, deep focus everything sharp edge to edge, lit exclusively by the single window daylight source, clean cool-neutral naturalistic grade, gentle edge falloff. Hyperreal and tactile.
2. Gorpcore in their colors
I went through Arc'teryx's current catalogue for colorway names and hex codes, then mixed top and bottom. She wears a Beta shell in Vitality royal blue (#2746C6) over a fitted base layer, technical trousers in Amaranthus purple (#7B4BA8), a little lime-green Conifer (#A3C93A) zip pull and chunky trail sneakers. All described in text, the empty room was the only reference.

Exact prompt
Cinematic editorial fashion still, 16:9. A full-body figure at portrait scale occupying the LEFT third of the frame, standing a comfortable distance from camera with her whole body and some floor around her visible — generous white negative space filling the rest of the frame above and to the right. NOT a tight close crop, NOT filling the full height — a relaxed full-length editorial portrait with breathing room. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED — preserve exactly from the reference studio): the same seamless matte-white cyclorama, white curved sweep into continuous matte-white floor, faint painted-plaster texture, soft satin floor sheen. Preserve the SAME soft directional daylight raking in low from the LEFT through a window, casting the SAME long clean geometric window-frame and mullion shadows across the floor to the RIGHT — the window light and its geometric floor shadows must be present exactly as in the reference, do not flatten to plain white. Cool-neutral white balance, faint warmth, dust motes. Roger Deakins naturalistic grade, deep focus. A woman stands at full portrait scale in the LEFT third of the frame, with space around her. Late twenties, athletic, warm fair skin, dark hair pulled back in a sleek practical low ponytail, clean fresh minimal makeup. She wears a technical ARC'TERYX gorpcore look that MIXES colors between top and bottom: a vivid royal-blue (Vitality, hex #2746C6) Beta technical shell jacket, worn over a fitted base layer, paired with contrasting jewel-purple (Amaranthus, hex #7B4BA8) technical trousers, and a small lime-green (Conifer, hex #A3C93A) zip-pull accent, chunky technical trail sneakers. A bold mixed technical color look — royal-blue shell top, purple bottoms, lime accent — sporty-sleek and editorial against the white studio. Confident grounded stance, weight on one leg, one hand adjusting the jacket zip, gaze off to the LEFT toward the light. High-fashion technical outdoor editorial, no large brand text.
3. Build the dinosaur bird
I described the Archaeopteryx feature by feature: iridescent blue-black feathers, broad wings that end in small clawed fingers, a slender toothed beak and a long bony feathered tail. I made it larger than life, about the size of a large eagle, standing at floor level and facing her. It holds out an Arc'teryx Mantis sling bag in black. She crouches, takes the bag with her left hand and touches its feathered neck with her right.
The pose frame and the empty room were the references, so she keeps her face and her outfit.

Exact prompt
Cinematic editorial fashion still, 16:9, medium shot. Both figures at portrait scale — the woman the SAME size as in the first reference frame, a full-body figure with breathing room, NOT small or distant and NOT a tight crop. Generous white negative space in the upper area. Cool-neutral white balance, dust motes. Roger Deakins naturalistic grade, deep focus. The same woman from the first reference — late twenties, athletic, warm fair skin, sleek dark low ponytail — is crouched gracefully low on the LEFT at portrait scale, wearing the mixed ARC'TERYX look: royal-blue (#2746C6) Beta shell jacket, jewel-purple (#7B4BA8) technical trousers, lime accents. On the RIGHT of the frame, a magnificent larger-than-life ARCHAEOPTERYX — a feathered prehistoric bird-dinosaur the size of a large eagle, with iridescent blue-black plumage, broad feathered wings each ending in small clawed fingers, a slender toothed beak, and a long bony feathered tail — stands and perches gracefully at floor level, facing her. The Archaeopteryx has just delivered an ARC'TERYX Mantis sling crossbody bag in black with a small accent, held in its beak / clawed wing-hand, offered up, which the woman takes with her LEFT hand. Her RIGHT hand reaches out to gently touch the creature's feathered neck. Serene, striking, prehistoric-meets-modern moment. Both figures clearly at portrait scale. High-fashion technical editorial, the royal-blue-and-purple outfit and the iridescent feathered dinosaur-bird against the white studio.
4. The fossil logo
Empty room, with the Arc'teryx fossil-skeleton emblem above the wordmark, centered in black. Logo file for the artwork, pose frame for the room and light.

Exact prompt
Minimalist title card, 16:9. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED — preserve exactly from the first reference studio): reproduce the same seamless matte-white cyclorama, white curved sweep into continuous matte-white floor, faint painted-plaster texture and satin floor sheen. Preserve the SAME soft daylight raking from the LEFT through a window, casting the SAME long clean geometric window-frame and mullion shadows across the floor to the RIGHT — the window light and its geometric floor shadows must be present exactly as in the reference, do not remove them or flatten to plain white. Cool-neutral white balance, dust motes. An empty studio, no person or animal. Composite the exact ARC'TERYX logo from the second (logo) reference — the black Archaeopteryx fossil-skeleton emblem above the black "ARC'TERYX" wordmark, reproduced precisely, unchanged in shape and proportion — centered on the white wall as a flat crisp black title graphic, perfectly level and sharp. Nothing else in the frame — the empty studio exactly matching the reference, with the centered black ARC'TERYX fossil-bird logo. Editorial end-card.
5. Her walk-in
First frame empty, last frame her pose. She comes in from the right and stops in the left third with a hand on her jacket zip. Only one woman.
Exact prompt
Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single woman only — exactly one person in the frame at all times, no clones or duplicates. The empty white studio; the woman enters FROM THE RIGHT edge of the frame, walks across to the left, and settles into a grounded confident pose in the left third — weight on one leg, one hand adjusting her jacket zip, head turning to a composed gaze to the left. Natural unhurried single-person walk, the royal-blue shell and purple trousers vivid against the white, long window shadows steady on the floor. Sleek technical outdoor editorial. The frame is locked; no camera movement.
6. Glide and step
There's no creature at the start of this clip, so it comes in from the right as part of the move. I wrote that it "glides and steps", which fits an animal that's half bird. And I repeated the full anatomy in the clip prompt too, wings, clawed fingers, toothed beak and bony tail, with the feathers shifting iridescent as it moves. Then she crouches, takes the bag and touches its neck.
Exact prompt
Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single woman, one Archaeopteryx — no duplicate figures or clones. The woman stands posed on the left. A large iridescent blue-black Archaeopteryx — a feathered prehistoric bird-dinosaur with broad feathered wings, clawed wing-fingers, a toothed beak and long bony tail — glides and steps gracefully into frame from the RIGHT, carrying an Arc'teryx Mantis sling bag in its beak, and settles facing her. She lowers into a graceful crouch and gently takes the bag from its beak with her left hand, then reaches out with her right hand to softly touch the creature's feathered neck. Slow, striking, prehistoric-meets-modern motion, the feathers shifting iridescent. Both figures at full portrait scale, generous white space, window shadows steady on the floor. Sleek technical editorial, royal-blue and purple outfit and the iridescent feathered dinosaur-bird against white. The frame is locked; no camera movement.
7. Off to the right
The creature starts facing her, so it turns right first. Then she walks and it strides and glides next to her, both forward. The fossil logo snaps on while she's still mid-stride.
Exact prompt
Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single woman, one Archaeopteryx — no duplicate figures or clones. She keeps wearing the SAME royal-blue shell jacket and purple trousers throughout — the outfit never changes. The woman rises with the Mantis sling bag in hand. The Archaeopteryx, currently facing left toward her, first TURNS its body to orient to the RIGHT, now facing the same way as her; then the woman walks and the Archaeopteryx strides and glides off together toward the RIGHT, side by side, both facing and moving forward in the SAME direction — the creature moves forward naturally, NOT backward, not sliding. While she is still mid-stride exiting right, the ARC'TERYX logo — the Archaeopteryx fossil-skeleton emblem above the ARC'TERYX wordmark — appears ALL AT ONCE in a single instant, snapping into place fully formed and centred over the frame as a flat crisp black title graphic, NOT fading or dissolving in. It holds perfectly still and sharp as they finish exiting right, and the frame resolves to the clean white studio with the centred black ARC'TERYX logo. The frame is locked; no camera movement.

Why it works
The spot shows the living Archaeopteryx and ends on its fossil, which is the brand's actual logo. Viewers get the animal first and the brand second, and the two match.
Your turn: check if the brand you like has an animal hiding in its logo. Then put the living version in the frame.
Emero writes the prompts for you and keeps your brand details saved for next time, at cost.
