Nano Banana Pro + Kling 3.0 - a young elephant hands over an orange hat with its trunk

In today's "animal frames" series I did a test spot styled on Loewe's look. A man in a green coat and purple trousers walks into a white studio, a young elephant walks in holding an orange bucket hat in its trunk, and they head out before the wordmark snaps on. Loewe isn't a client, just a test. This one ended up as one of the best performers in the whole series, and when I look at why, it comes down to two things: loud color and an animal doing something it never could.

Here's my exact process.

1. Blank studio

First a studio from a prompt alone, white curved wall, pale floor, window on the left.

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image. This is a photograph taken inside a minimalist white studio from the start — not a composite. Shoot the whole space natively, with a single unified natural light source across every surface. THE VIBE: Austere, hushed, expensive emptiness — the pared-back quiet-luxury minimalism of a high-fashion campaign set before anything is placed in it. The room feels intellectual and cool, precise but not sterile, where the quality of light and the fall of a shadow are the only events. Stillness and generous negative space. THE SETTING: A clean, modern white studio — a seamless matte-white cyclorama sweep curving gently from floor to wall with no visible seam, its surface carrying the faintest real texture and tonal variation so it reads as painted plaster, not a flat digital void. A polished pale microcement floor with a soft satin sheen, subtle and almost imperceptible reflections. One tall floor-to-ceiling window just out of frame to the left. Architectural, uncluttered, refined proportions. THE LIGHT: Soft directional daylight raking in low from the left through the unseen window, casting long, clean, elongated geometric shadows across the white sweep and floor — the crisp diagonal of a window frame and mullions stretched across the wall. Gentle falloff from bright highlight to soft grey shadow, smooth gradients, no harsh clipping. Cool-neutral white balance with the faintest warmth where the sun lands. THE KEY DETAILS: The natural window-cast shadows are the subject — long, soft-edged diagonal bars and a rectangle of light on the floor. Delicate dust motes suspended in the light shaft. Subtle tonal gradation across the seamless wall. THE MOOD: Editorial, muted, cold-clinical calm with a breath of warmth. Restrained luxury. A clean neutral grade, whites held just off pure white, soft grey shadows, nothing oversaturated. THE COMPOSITION: Wide architectural frame, eye level, straight-on and balanced. Vast negative space with the shadows placed on a rule-of-thirds diagonal as the leading lines; low emphasis, open airy upper frame. THE CAMERA: Cinematic editorial architectural still — wide framing, eye-level straight position, deep focus with everything sharp edge to edge, lit exclusively by the single window daylight source with no studio strobes and no artificial separation, a clean cool-neutral naturalistic grade in the vein of Roger Deakins' understated natural light. Light falls off gently toward the frame edges. Hyperreal, tactile, every surface present.

Then the same room with the floor turned white.

Create a new photorealistic image, but the floor is now white. Preserve everything else from the reference exactly — the seamless matte-white cyclorama wall, the soft low directional daylight from the left, the long clean geometric window-cast shadows, the composition, framing, grade and mood all stay identical. THE FLOOR (CHANGED): The floor is now a clean matte white, continuous with the seamless white cyclorama sweep so wall and floor read as one unbroken white surface, no visible seam. A soft satin sheen with subtle, almost imperceptible reflections, the faintest real texture and tonal variation so it reads as painted plaster rather than a flat digital void — never pure clipped white. THE SETTING (LOCKED): The minimalist white studio, the seamless curving cyclorama, the tall floor-to-ceiling window just out of frame to the left. Do NOT redesign the environment. THE LIGHT (LOCKED): Soft directional daylight raking in low from the left, casting long, clean, elongated geometric window-frame and mullion shadows across the white sweep and now the white floor, with gentle falloff to soft grey and smooth gradients. Cool-neutral white balance with the faintest warmth where the sun lands. Delicate dust motes in the light shaft. THE MOOD (LOCKED): Editorial, muted, cold-clinical calm with a breath of warmth, restrained luxury, clean neutral grade, whites held just off pure white. THE COMPOSITION (LOCKED): Wide architectural frame, eye level, straight-on, vast negative space, the shadows on a rule-of-thirds diagonal as leading lines, open airy upper frame. THE CAMERA (LOCKED): Cinematic editorial architectural still, deep focus everything sharp edge to edge, lit exclusively by the single window daylight source, clean cool-neutral naturalistic grade, gentle edge falloff. Hyperreal and tactile.

2. Go loud on color

I wrote a color-clash look, no product photos: a sharp, structured grass-green wool overcoat worn open, a crisp white shirt, royal-purple wide-wale corduroy trousers and clean off-white leather shoes. He's on the left third, one hand in his pocket, looking toward the light. The empty room is the only reference and I asked for no large brand text.

Cinematic editorial fashion still, 16:9. Same seamless matte-white cyclorama studio: white curved sweep melting into continuous matte-white floor, faint painted-plaster texture, soft satin floor sheen. Soft directional daylight raking in low from the LEFT, long clean geometric window-frame and mullion shadows to the RIGHT. Cool-neutral white balance, faintest warmth, dust motes in the light shaft. Roger Deakins naturalistic grade, deep focus. A man stands in the LEFT third of the frame, vast white negative space filling the rest. Early-to-mid thirties, warm light-olive skin, tousled dark hair, clean-shaven with a strong jaw. He wears a LOEWE Fall-Winter 2026 color-clash look: a sharp structured grass-green / neon-green wool overcoat worn open with clean tailored lines, over a crisp white shirt, paired with royal-purple wide-wale corduroy trousers and clean minimal off-white leather shoes. Playful-luxury, bold saturated color against the white. Quietly confident stance, weight on one leg, one hand loosely in pocket, gaze off to the LEFT toward the light. Editorial menswear, no large brand text.

3. Size the elephant, add the hat

Two references here: his frame for him and the outfit, and the empty room for the set. The elephant and the hat are from text.

The size got its own line. I asked for a good-sized young elephant, roughly chest to shoulder height on him while he crouches. He's on the left with a bright satsuma-orange bucket hat on his knee in his left hand, and his right hand reaches up to stroke the elephant's head. Wide shot, both small in the lower third, bold color against the white.

Cinematic editorial fashion still, 16:9, WIDE shot with small figures low in the frame and vast white negative space above. Same seamless matte-white cyclorama studio: white curved sweep into continuous matte-white floor, faint painted-plaster texture, soft satin sheen. Soft directional daylight raking in low from the LEFT, long clean geometric window shadows stretching to the RIGHT. Cool-neutral white balance, dust motes in the light. Roger Deakins naturalistic grade, deep focus. The same man from the reference — early-to-mid thirties, warm light-olive skin, tousled dark hair, clean-shaven — is crouched low on the LEFT wearing the LOEWE Fall-Winter 2026 grass-green structured wool overcoat, white shirt, royal-purple wide-wale corduroy trousers, off-white leather shoes. On the RIGHT of the frame, a young ELEPHANT stands calmly at floor level — notably larger, roughly chest-to-shoulder height to the crouching man, a good-sized juvenile elephant, grey wrinkled skin, facing him, trunk raised. The elephant has just delivered a bright satsuma-orange LOEWE bucket HAT, which the man now holds in his LEFT hand resting on his knee. His RIGHT hand reaches up to gently stroke the elephant's head. Serene, warm, playful moment. Both figures small in the lower third, enormous calm white space above. Editorial luxury campaign, bold color against white.

4. The wordmark card

For this card I used his pose frame as the room reference and asked the model to remove the person so the studio is empty. The second reference is a file of the LOEWE wordmark, placed black, level and centred.

Empty white studio with a black wordmark on the wall, made with Nano Banana Pro

Exact prompt

Minimalist title card, 16:9. Reproduce the EXACT same white studio room as the first reference image — identical matte-white cyclorama sweep and continuous matte-white floor, identical faint painted-plaster texture and satin floor sheen, identical soft daylight raking from the LEFT with the same long geometric window-frame shadows falling to the RIGHT, same cool-neutral white balance, same dust motes. Keep the room, light, and shadows exactly as that reference — just remove the person and animal so the studio is empty. Then composite the exact LOEWE wordmark from the second (logo) reference — the black serif "LOEWE" lettering, reproduced precisely, unchanged in shape and proportion — centered on the white wall as a flat crisp black title graphic, perfectly level and sharp. Nothing else in the frame — the empty studio exactly matching the reference, with the centered black LOEWE logo. Editorial end-card.

5. He walks in

Empty room first, his pose last. He comes in from the right edge, crosses left and settles into his pose. The prompt says one single man only, exactly one person in the frame at all times.

Kling 3.0$0.84

Exact prompt

Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single man only — exactly one person in the frame at all times, no clones or duplicates. The empty white studio; the man enters FROM THE RIGHT edge of the frame, walks across to the left, and settles into a confident pose in the left third — weight on one leg, one hand slipping into his pocket, head turning to gaze off to the left toward the light. Natural unhurried single-person walk, the green wool coat moving softly, long window shadows steady on the floor. Cinematic editorial, bold color against white. The frame is locked; no camera movement.

6. Trunk, not mouth

His pose first, the elephant frame last. The elephant walks in from the right carrying the hat in its trunk and stops facing him. He crouches, takes the hat with his left hand, rests it on his knee and strokes the top of its head with his right.

One tip: write the trunk. The prompt has the hat in the elephant's trunk the whole way, and the delivery frame shows its trunk raised. I also kept the headcount line: one single man, one elephant, no duplicates.

Kling 3.0$0.84

Exact prompt

Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single man, one elephant — no duplicate figures or clones. The man stands posed on the left. A young elephant walks calmly into frame from the RIGHT, carrying a bright satsuma-orange LOEWE bucket hat in its trunk, and comes to stand close facing him. The man lowers into a crouch to meet it, gently takes the hat with his left hand and rests it on his knee, then reaches up with his right hand to stroke the top of the elephant's head. Slow, tender, warm, playful motion. Both figures small and low in the frame, vast calm white space above. Cinematic editorial, bold color against white. The frame is locked; no camera movement.

7. Walk-off and wordmark

The elephant frame first, the wordmark card last. He rises with the hat in hand and they walk off to the right. The wordmark snaps on all at once mid-stride and holds still.

Kling 3.0$0.84

Exact prompt

Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single man, one elephant — no duplicate figures or clones. The man rises from the crouch, the orange bucket hat in hand, and he and the elephant turn and walk off together toward the RIGHT, slow and unhurried. While they are still mid-stride exiting right, the LOEWE wordmark appears ALL AT ONCE in a single instant, snapping into place fully formed and centred over the frame as a flat crisp black title graphic — NOT fading or dissolving in. It holds perfectly still and sharp as they finish exiting right, and the frame resolves to the clean white studio with the centred black LOEWE logo. The frame is locked; no camera movement.

Why it works

After about a week of posting, my notes say the spots that did best had two things together: saturated color that pops off the white studio, and an unexpected animal doing something impossible. This one has both. An elephant offering a hat is the kind of thing that stops a scroll, and the green, purple and orange keep it from fading into the white.

Your turn: before your next shoot, check the concept for both. Loud color, strange animal. If one's missing, rework it first.

Emero writes the prompts for every frame and clip and remembers your brand's colors, at cost.
