Nano Banana Pro + Kling 3.0 - a surreal knitted wool world in three clips

Build a surreal world made of wool, dress a character to match and animate three short clips

11 generations$3.43 total

Ever wanted to make one of those surreal reels where the whole world is made out of one material?

I saved one a while back and decided to build my own from scratch. I picked wool, so everything is knitted or crocheted: the hills, the moon, the clouds, even the animals. It took me 11 generations to get three clips I liked, and a few of those were me fixing stuff that broke.

Here's my exact process.

1. Build the world first

First I make the world, before I worry too much about the person in it. I asked for rolling hills of chunky knitted wool in terracotta, dusty pink, sage and mustard, a path made of crochet granny squares, a crocheted moon and clouds made of felted wool. Then I added a woman walking a giant tortoise with moss growing on its shell.

I describe it like a real set someone built by hand, with visible stitches, loose fibres and lumpy spots in the knitting.

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image of a surreal handmade-set fashion editorial, with real textile mechanics: every landscape surface is chunky hand-knitted and crocheted wool, built as a physical miniature-scale set with visible stitches, loose fibres and slight lumpy imperfections. THE VIBE: A dreamy 1970s fashion editorial staged inside a world knitted by hand — warm, slow, a little absurd and very calm. The whole scene feels like a cozy fever dream, soft and tactile, where a stylish traveler and an ancient creature take an unhurried walk together. IDENTITY LOCK: The woman is in her late twenties with deep brown skin with warm red-copper undertone, a voluminous rounded natural afro, dark brown eyes, bare minimal makeup with a glossy terracotta lip, and small gold hoop earrings. THE SUBJECT: She wears the wide-legged 1970s jumpsuit in mustard-yellow and teal paisley print, flared sleeves, wide pointed collar, a cognac leather belt, and chunky cream platform boots. She walks a few steps ahead of the tortoise, mid-stride, weight on her front foot, holding a loose braided rope of rust-coloured yarn that loops gently back to the tortoise, her head turned back over her shoulder toward it with a small amused smile. Beside her lumbers the giant tortoise, as tall as her waist, its domed shell covered in thick velvety green moss with tiny ochre and cream mushrooms sprouting along the ridges, its ancient grey leathery head stretched forward, one front foot lifted mid-step. THE FACE: Natural skin texture, no airbrushing, no plastic or waxy skin, real skin with subtle tonal variation and luminous sheen on the cheekbones and nose bridge, soft organic light. THE SETTING: Rolling hills made entirely of chunky knitted wool in bands of terracotta, dusty pink, sage green and mustard, with visible cable-knit and ribbed stitch patterns following the hill contours; a winding path of cream crochet granny squares runs through the valley; in the background, layered further knitted hills recede into soft haze. In the pale peach-to-powder-blue sky hangs a large crocheted moon in cream yarn with a textured spiral stitch, and a few puffy clouds of felted white wool. THE LIGHT: Low warm late-afternoon sun from frame-right, raking across the knitted hills so every stitch casts tiny shadows; golden rim light on her afro and the tortoise's moss; long soft shadows of both figures stretch left across the wool ground; the warm light bleeds amber onto her skin and the mustard print. THE KEY DETAILS: Stray wool fibres catching the backlight; a few loose dropped stitches on a hillside; the yarn leash sagging naturally between them; tiny felted wildflowers dotting the hills. THE MOOD: Warm-nostalgic 1970s grade, slightly faded pastel with rich mustard and teal, gentle film-like softness — playful, whimsical, serene. THE COMPOSITION: Vertical frame; the woman stands in the right-centre third, full body, the tortoise slightly behind her on the left, both in the lower-middle of the frame; the knitted hills sweep diagonally behind them; the crocheted moon sits in the upper-left sky with generous open sky around it. THE CAMERA: Editorial cinematic capture, eye-level, medium-wide full-body framing with a moderate telephoto look compressing the hills, subject sharp and background hills softly falling out of focus, in the naturalistic style of Deakins. No text, no logos anywhere.

2. Make her part of the world

The hills came out great, but she looked like she got dropped in from a different shoot. She was wearing a regular 70s jumpsuit.

So I told Claude "env is cool but she doesn't fit the scene. she should also be dressed in like a wool fever dream". I kept the first image as a reference so the hills, the moon and the tortoise stayed the same, and only swapped her outfit for a chunky knit sweater dress in the same colors as the hills. She got yarn fringe, felt mushrooms on her shoulders and knitted pom-pom boots, plus a few loose threads trailing off her hem onto the ground.

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image, but with the woman now dressed head to toe in an oversized hand-knitted wool fever-dream outfit that belongs to the knitted world. NO paisley jumpsuit, NO leather belt, NO cream leather boots — none of the previous outfit remains. THE SETTING (LOCKED): Preserve the knitted landscape exactly from the first reference — the rolling hills of chunky cable-knit and ribbed wool in terracotta, dusty pink, sage green and mustard, the cream crochet granny-square path, the receding pastel hills in soft haze, the large cream crocheted spiral moon upper-left, the felted white wool clouds, the peach-to-powder-blue sky, the moss-covered tortoise with tiny mushrooms. Do NOT redesign the environment. THE VIBE: She is no longer a visitor in the knitted world — she is made of it. A soft, absurd, cozy fever dream where the woman's clothes look stitched from the same yarn as the hills, so she and the landscape read as one handmade piece. IDENTITY LOCK: Preserve the woman with deep brown skin and the voluminous rounded afro, from the first reference. Do NOT source face or skin from any other reference. THE SUBJECT: She wears an enormous sculptural chunky-knit coat-dress in bands of terracotta, mustard and sage matching the hills, with exaggerated puffed balloon sleeves in dusty-pink cable knit, a huge rolled crochet collar in cream granny squares that rises around her neck, fringed yarn tassels hanging at the hem, and a scattering of felted wildflowers and a few tiny felt mushrooms stitched across the shoulders. On her legs, thick ribbed mustard knit leg-warmers bunch over chunky knitted boots in terracotta with pom-poms at the ankles. Woven into her afro is a crocheted halo-band of small cream yarn flowers. She keeps the same pose: mid-stride walking ahead, head turned back over her shoulder toward the tortoise with a small amused smile, one hand holding the braided rust yarn leash that loops back to the tortoise. The knit is real wool — visible stitches, fuzzy halo of loose fibres, slight lumpy handmade irregularity, heavy and soft, folding and draping with real weight. THE FACE: Natural skin texture, no airbrushing, no plastic or waxy skin, luminous sheen on the cheekbones and nose bridge, warm red-copper undertone. THE LIGHT: Same low warm late-afternoon sun from frame-right as the first reference, raking across her knitted outfit so every stitch casts tiny shadows exactly like the hills; golden rim light catching the fuzzy fibre halo around her sleeves and afro; her shadow stretches left across the wool ground, matching the tortoise's shadow. THE KEY DETAILS: Loose yarn ends trailing from her hem onto the knitted ground as if she is unravelling into the landscape; stray fibres glowing in the backlight. THE MOOD: Warm-nostalgic faded pastel grade, whimsical and serene, a handmade fashion fever dream. THE COMPOSITION: Same framing as the first reference — vertical, she sits in the right-centre third, full body, tortoise on the left, moon upper-left. THE CAMERA: Editorial cinematic capture, eye-level, medium-wide full-body framing, subject sharp, distant hills softly out of focus, naturalistic in the style of Deakins. No text, no logos.

3. Animate the walk

Then I animated it. I asked for "super dope camera work" and honestly the move I got was pretty tame. A hype word like dope doesn't tell the model where the camera should actually go.

Still a nice clip though, so I kept it as the opening shot.

Kling 3.0$0.84

Exact prompt

Animate this exact frame. The woman in the chunky knitted sweater dress keeps walking forward along the cream crochet granny-square path, toward frame-right and slightly toward camera, with a relaxed confident stride; her heavy knit dress sways and the yarn fringe at the hem swings with each step, the puffy pink cable-knit sleeves bounce softly, the felt flowers in her afro bob gently. She glances back over her shoulder at the tortoise, smiling, then turns her face forward. The mossy tortoise plods steadily behind her on the yarn leash, the leash sagging and tightening naturally, tiny mushrooms on its shell trembling. Loose yarn trails drag across the knitted ground behind her. Camera: a sweeping cinematic move — start low and wide near the knitted ground at the tortoise, with soft fuzzy wool fibres blurring past in the extreme foreground, then a smooth fast dolly that arcs around the pair from left to right and rises up, ending in a low-angle hero tracking shot on the woman walking toward camera with the crocheted moon and felted clouds above her. Fluid steadicam feel, shallow depth of field, rack focus from the foreground wool to her face. Lighting stays warm low late-afternoon sun from the right, golden rim light on the fuzzy fibres. The knitted hills, moon and clouds stay completely unchanged in design; stray fibres drift and glow in the backlight. Real wool physics with heavy, soft draping. No text, no new characters, no morphing.

4. Move to a new spot in the world

For the second scene I wanted her doing something everyday, so I put her on a bike made of wool. Sage yarn wrapped around the frame, crocheted tyres, a felted saddle and a basket of felt flowers. I used the last image as a reference so her face and outfit stayed the same, and asked for a different part of the world with a yarn stream and giant crocheted mushrooms.

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image of the same knitted world from the first reference, in a different part of the landscape, with the same woman now riding a bicycle made entirely of wool. THE VIBE: A cozy, absurd fever dream, warm and whimsical: she glides through her handmade world on a bike that has been knitted and crocheted, as if a grandmother had covered the whole world in yarn. IDENTITY LOCK: Preserve the woman from the first reference exactly — deep brown skin with a warm red-copper undertone, voluminous rounded afro with the crown of small cream crocheted flowers. Do NOT alter her face. WARDROBE LOCK: Preserve her outfit from the first reference exactly — the striped chunky-knit sweater dress in terracotta and mustard bands, the puffy dusty-pink cable-knit balloon sleeves, the cream crochet roll collar, the yarn fringe at the hem, the felt mushrooms and flowers on her shoulders, the mustard ribbed leg-warmers and terracotta knitted pom-pom boots. THE SUBJECT: She rides a vintage step-through bicycle built entirely from wool: a frame made of thick tightly wrapped sage-green yarn-bombed tubes with visible ribbed knitting, wheels with chunky crocheted terracotta tyres and spokes of taut cream yarn strands, a fluffy felted mustard saddle, handlebars wrapped in dusty-pink cable knit with pom-pom tassels hanging from the grips, and a crocheted wicker-style front basket overflowing with felted wildflowers and a few small felt mushrooms. She pedals in a relaxed, easy rhythm, one foot pushing down, her dress fringe and loose yarn ends fluttering behind her with the motion, her face lifted toward the sun with a carefree half-smile. A long loose yarn thread trails from the back wheel across the ground like a ribbon unravelling behind her. THE FACE: Natural skin texture, no airbrushing, no plastic or waxy skin, real skin with subtle tonal variation and luminous sheen on the cheekbones, soft organic light. THE SETTING: A new part of the same knitted landscape: she rides along a winding crochet granny-square road that curves down a gentle slope between rolling hills of chunky cable-knit and ribbed wool in terracotta, dusty pink, sage and mustard. On one side a little stream of knitted pale blue yarn flows past, with felted pebbles along its banks; on the other, a cluster of oversized crocheted mushrooms in cream and ochre stands taller than her. In the distance, layered knitted hills fade into soft haze, and the large cream crocheted spiral moon and felted wool clouds hang in the peach-to-powder-blue sky. THE LIGHT: Low warm late-afternoon sun from frame-left, raking across every stitch so it casts tiny shadows; golden rim light glowing through the fuzzy fibre halo of her sleeves, afro and the bike's yarn; long soft shadows of the bike and rider stretch right across the wool road. THE KEY DETAILS: Stray fibres floating and glowing in the backlight; slightly lumpy handmade irregularity in the bike's knitting; a pom-pom bouncing on the handlebars. THE MOOD: Warm-nostalgic faded pastel grade with rich mustard and terracotta; playful, joyful, serene. THE COMPOSITION: Vertical frame; a three-quarter side view as she rides from left to right across the lower-middle third, the full bike and rider in frame; the curving road leads the eye back toward the hills; the crocheted moon sits in the upper-right sky. THE CAMERA: Editorial cinematic capture, slightly low eye-level angle, medium-wide framing with a moderate telephoto look, subject sharp, background hills softly out of focus, naturalistic in the style of Deakins. No text, no logos anywhere.

5. Fix what breaks

And listen, this part took a few tries. I wanted a different angle, so I tried a low shot with her riding straight at the camera. The bike lost its back wheel and basically turned into a unicycle 😅

Low front angle where the wool bike lost its back wheel, made with Nano Banana Pro
Nano Banana Pro$0.13

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image of the exact same moment from the first reference, re-shot from a completely different camera angle: a dramatic low front angle with her riding straight toward the camera. IDENTITY LOCK: Preserve the woman from the first reference exactly, with deep brown skin with a warm red-copper undertone, voluminous rounded afro with the crown of small cream crocheted flowers. Do NOT alter her face. WARDROBE LOCK: Preserve her outfit exactly: striped terracotta-and-mustard chunky-knit sweater dress, puffy dusty-pink cable-knit balloon sleeves, cream crochet roll collar, yarn fringe at the hem, felt mushrooms and flowers on her shoulders, mustard ribbed leg-warmers, terracotta knitted pom-pom boots. BIKE LOCK: Preserve the wool bicycle exactly: sage-green yarn-wrapped knitted frame, chunky crocheted terracotta tyres, cream yarn spokes, felted mustard saddle, dusty-pink cable-knit handlebars with pink pom-pom tassels, crocheted basket full of felted wildflowers and small felt mushrooms. THE SUBJECT: She rides head-on toward the lens down the curving crochet granny-square road, the front crocheted tyre and flower basket looming large in the foreground, her body rising above them; she leans slightly forward over the handlebars with a joyful open smile looking just past the camera, the pom-poms swinging, her dress fringe and the loose yarn ends streaming behind her in the wind of her motion. THE FACE: Natural skin texture, no airbrushing, no plastic or waxy skin, luminous sheen on the cheekbones, soft organic light. THE SETTING: Behind her, the road curves back up the gentle slope between the rolling cable-knit hills in terracotta, dusty pink, sage and mustard; the pale blue knitted yarn stream with felted pebbles runs along one side and the cluster of giant cream-and-ochre crocheted mushrooms stands on the other; the cream crocheted spiral moon and felted clouds hang in the peach-to-powder-blue sky above her head. THE LIGHT: Low warm late-afternoon sun now directly behind her, creating a strong golden backlight halo through the fuzzy fibres of her afro, sleeves and the bike's yarn; soft warm bounce fill from the wool road onto her face; long shadow stretching toward the camera. THE KEY DETAILS: Stray glowing fibres floating in the air around her; slight lumpy handmade irregularity in every knit surface; a felt flower tumbling out of the basket mid-air. THE MOOD: Warm-nostalgic faded pastel grade, joyful, whimsical, heroic. THE COMPOSITION: Vertical frame; camera at ground level a few metres in front of the bike, centred; the front wheel and basket fill the lower third, she rises through the centre, and the moon sits above her head in the upper third. THE CAMERA: Editorial cinematic capture, low worm's-eye angle with a wide-ish lens for dynamic perspective, front tyre slightly soft, her face tack sharp, background hills softly out of focus, naturalistic in the style of Deakins. No text, no logos anywhere.

Then I said "make her basically face left" and got almost the exact same image back, still facing right. What finally worked was asking for a mirrored version of the shot and saying where everything goes: the front wheel, the basket and the mushrooms on the left, the stream on the right, the moon in the top left.

Woman on the wool bike riding toward the left, made with Nano Banana Pro
Nano Banana Pro$0.13

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image as a MIRRORED, horizontally flipped version of the first reference's composition: the woman and her wool bicycle now travel from RIGHT to LEFT. The front wheel and flower basket are on the LEFT side of the frame, the rear wheel and mustard saddle on the RIGHT. Her body, face and gaze point toward frame-left. This is the key change — do NOT keep her facing right. IDENTITY LOCK: Preserve the woman from the first reference exactly — deep brown skin with a warm red-copper undertone, voluminous rounded afro with the crown of small cream crocheted flowers. WARDROBE LOCK: Preserve her outfit exactly — striped terracotta-and-mustard chunky-knit sweater dress, puffy dusty-pink cable-knit balloon sleeves, cream crochet roll collar, yarn fringe, felt mushrooms and flowers on the shoulders, mustard ribbed leg-warmers, terracotta knitted pom-pom boots. BIKE LOCK: Preserve the wool bicycle exactly — two crocheted terracotta tyres with cream yarn spokes, sage-green yarn-wrapped step-through frame, felted mustard saddle, dusty-pink cable-knit handlebars with pink pom-pom tassels, crocheted basket of felted wildflowers on the front. THE SUBJECT: She pedals toward frame-left in clean side profile, upright, both hands on the handlebars, face lifted toward the light with a soft carefree smile; her dress fringe, pom-poms and a loose yarn thread trail behind her to the right. THE FACE: Natural skin texture, no airbrushing, no plastic or waxy skin, luminous sheen on the cheekbones. THE SETTING: Also mirrored: the giant cream-and-ochre crocheted mushrooms now stand on the LEFT, ahead of her; the pale blue knitted yarn stream with felted pebbles runs on the RIGHT, behind her; the crocheted spiral moon and felted cloud sit in the upper-LEFT sky; the low sun glows on the far right horizon behind her. Same rolling cable-knit hills in terracotta, dusty pink, sage and mustard, same crochet granny-square road. THE LIGHT: Low warm sun from frame-right behind her, golden rim light glowing through the fuzzy fibres of her afro, sleeves and the bike's yarn; soft warm fill on her face; shadows stretch left. THE MOOD: Warm-nostalgic faded pastel grade, whimsical, serene. THE COMPOSITION: Vertical frame, bike and rider in the middle third with both wheels fully visible, open space on the left in the direction she rides. THE CAMERA: Eye-level editorial cinematic capture, medium-wide framing, moderate telephoto look, subject sharp, background soft, naturalistic in the style of Deakins. No text, no logos.

6. Change one thing at a time

Last fix on this frame was her face. She was smiling up at the sky, and I wanted her focused, like she's commuting. So I asked for exactly that: "not like she's taking a test but like just as if she's on her way to work". Same image, only the expression changed.

Woman on the wool bike with a calm, focused expression, made with Nano Banana Pro
Nano Banana Pro$0.13

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image identical to the first reference — same composition, same knitted landscape, same wool bicycle, same outfit, same pose riding toward frame-left, same light — changing ONLY her facial expression and gaze. IDENTITY LOCK: Preserve the woman from the first reference exactly, with deep brown skin with a warm red-copper undertone, voluminous rounded afro with the crown of small cream crocheted flowers. Do NOT alter her features. THE EXPRESSION: No smile. Her face is calm, neutral and quietly focused — the relaxed everyday concentration of someone on their usual commute to work: lips softly closed and relaxed, brow smooth and unfurrowed, jaw loose, eyes looking straight ahead along the road in the direction she rides (frame-left), not up at the sky. Composed and unbothered, a little cool and self-possessed, not tense, not strained, not intense. THE HEAD: Head level and facing forward in the direction of travel, chin neutral, in profile with a slight three-quarter turn toward camera so her face reads. LOCKED: The striped terracotta-and-mustard knit sweater dress, dusty-pink cable-knit sleeves, cream crochet collar, fringe, felt flowers and mushrooms, mustard leg-warmers, pom-pom boots; the sage-green yarn bike with crocheted terracotta tyres, mustard saddle, pink handlebars with pom-poms, flower basket; the crocheted mushrooms on the left, yarn stream on the right, crocheted moon upper-left, warm low sun on the right horizon. THE FACE: Natural skin texture, no airbrushing, no plastic or waxy skin, luminous sheen on the cheekbones, soft organic light. THE CAMERA: Same eye-level editorial cinematic framing as the first reference, naturalistic in the style of Deakins. No text, no logos.

7. Describe the camera move like you're filming it

This is where the camera finally got good. Instead of hype words I described the actual move: "like a drone whizzing past and going all around her". The camera comes in fast from behind, passes her shoulder close enough that wool fibres blur through the frame, orbits all the way around her and pulls up into a wide shot of the hills.

Kling 3.0$0.84

Exact prompt

Animate this exact frame. The woman keeps pedalling her wool bicycle steadily toward frame-left along the crochet granny-square road, calm and focused like she's on her daily commute, her face neutral and eyes fixed ahead. Her legs pedal smoothly, the crocheted wheels roll, the pom-poms on the handlebars swing, her dress fringe and loose yarn ends flutter behind her, the felt flowers in the basket bob with each bump. Camera: dramatic, high-energy FPV drone move. The drone screams in fast from behind and slightly above, whizzing low past her right shoulder close enough that fuzzy fibres blur through the frame, then banks hard and swings in a fast full orbit around her and the bike, circling from the side to in front of her, sweeping past the giant crocheted mushrooms and dipping low over the yarn stream, then rising up and pulling back into a sweeping wide reveal of her riding alone through the rolling knitted hills under the crocheted moon. Fast, fluid, aggressive banking with slight motion blur, smooth continuous motion, no cuts. Keep her calm expression throughout. Warm low late-afternoon sun from the right, golden rim light on the fibres. The knitted landscape, moon, mushrooms, stream, outfit and bike stay exactly as designed. Real wool physics. No text, no new characters, no morphing.

8. End on something slow

For the last scene I wanted the end of her day, so she's floating down a lazy river made of silk on a donut float made of wool. The shiny silk against all that fuzzy wool is my favorite part of the whole set.

Woman lounging on a knitted donut float on a river of blue silk, made with Nano Banana Pro
Nano Banana Pro$0.13

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image of the final scene in the same handmade world from the first reference: the woman lazily floating down a winding river made of flowing silk, lounging on an inflatable donut ring made of wool. THE VIBE: The slow, dreamy end of the day, after the commute. Total ease, a soft, sleepy summer-afternoon drift through a world knitted by hand, the shimmering silk river a luxurious counterpoint to all the fuzzy wool around it. THE SUBJECT: She reclines in the middle of a plump inflatable donut ring made of chunky hand-knitted wool, knitted in fat stripes of terracotta and dusty pink with a sprinkle of tiny felted mustard and sage "sprinkles" stitched on top, the ring puffy and taut as if inflated, its knit stitches slightly stretched over the curve. She leans back with her elbows resting on the rim, legs draped over the front edge with her pom-pom boots dangling just above the silk, head tilted back slightly, eyes half-closed, a calm content expression with the faintest relaxed smile, one hand trailing lazily into the silk river. THE FACE: Natural skin texture, no airbrushing, no plastic or waxy skin, real skin with subtle tonal variation, luminous sheen on the cheekbones and nose bridge, soft organic light. THE SETTING: The river is a long length of liquid-looking silk satin in soft powder blue and pale aqua with a pearly sheen, rippling and folding in gentle current-like waves, with glossy highlights running along every fold and soft dimpled ripples where her hand trails in. It winds lazily between banks of the chunky cable-knit hills in terracotta, dusty pink, sage and mustard; giant crocheted cream-and-ochre mushrooms and felted wildflowers line the banks; a little crocheted granny-square footbridge arches across the river behind her. Far behind, the rolling knitted hills fade into haze, and the cream crocheted spiral moon and felted wool clouds hang in the peach-to-lavender sky. THE LIGHT: Low golden-hour sun, softer and later than before, from frame-right, gliding across the silk in long shimmering specular highlights; warm rim light glowing through the fuzzy fibres of her afro, sleeves and the knitted donut; a gentle reflected glow from the silk bounced up onto her face. THE KEY DETAILS: The contrast of glossy liquid silk against matte fuzzy wool; a few felted flower petals floating along on the silk; a stray yarn thread from her hem trailing in the current behind the donut. THE MOOD: Warm-nostalgic faded pastel grade, slow, sleepy, serene, blissful. THE COMPOSITION: Vertical frame; slightly elevated three-quarter view looking down the river; she and the donut sit in the lower-middle third, floating toward camera at a slight diagonal; the winding silk river leads the eye back past the footbridge toward the hills; the moon sits in the upper-left sky. THE CAMERA: Editorial cinematic capture, gently elevated angle, medium-wide framing with a moderate telephoto look, subject sharp, background softly out of focus, naturalistic in the style of Deakins. No text, no logos anywhere.

For the video I broke the camera move into short beats, in order: low over the silk, around her, up through the bridge as she floats under it, then a high wide shot of the whole river.

Kling 3.0$0.84

Exact prompt

Create a new video where a woman in a chunky striped knit sweater dress drifts lazily down a winding river of shimmering powder-blue silk, reclining in a plump striped wool donut float, eyes closed, completely at ease, through a hand-knitted world of cable-knit hills, giant crocheted mushrooms and a crochet granny-square bridge under a crocheted moon. The silk ripples and rolls in slow liquid waves, catching long golden-hour highlights, while the view sweeps through the scene in a bold, flowing aerial journey: starting low on the silk, gliding up and around her, then soaring high to reveal the whole winding river. Warm faded pastel golden hour, dreamy, blissful, effortlessly cool. [SCENE 1] THE STARTING FRAME: she reclines in the wool donut, elbows on the rim, legs draped over the front with pom-pom boots dangling, eyes closed, one hand trailing in the silk. Video animates FROM this position. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED FROM FRAME): the knitted hills, mushrooms, granny-square bridge, crocheted moon and felted clouds remain static in design. Only animate the silk, the float, her, petals and threads. The donut drifts forward with the current, toward the viewer and slightly right, facing the direction it travels, gently turning a few degrees as it floats — NOT sliding backward, not drifting against the current. Silk swells in slow rolling waves beneath her, glossy highlights racing along every fold; her trailing hand draws soft ripples through the satin. [SCENE 2] Skimming just above the silk surface, the view rushes in low and fast toward her from downstream, felt petals tumbling past in the extreme foreground, ripples flashing gold. [SCENE 3] It banks hard and sweeps in a fast arc around the donut at shoulder height, circling from her side to behind her head, her afro and flower crown glowing in the backlight as she tilts her head back further, a slow content smile spreading, the loose yarn thread snaking through the current behind her. [SCENE 4] Rising up and over, the view climbs steeply and soars up through the arch of the crochet granny-square bridge as she floats beneath it, the stitched squares sweeping past overhead. [SCENE 5] Pulling high and wide into a sweeping aerial reveal: the silk river winds like a glowing ribbon through the knitted hills, her tiny striped donut drifting lazily down its curve, the crocheted moon hanging above, the late sun spilling gold across the shimmering satin. Real silk fluid physics, heavy soft wool. Her face stays consistent throughout. No text, no new characters, no morphing.

Why it works

Sticking to one material keeps every scene feeling like the same place, even when you jump to a totally new spot. Dressing her in the same yarn stopped her from looking pasted in. And the videos got way better once I stopped asking for dope camera work and started describing the exact path the camera takes.

Your turn: pick one material, like wool, velvet or glass, and make a single world out of it before you add anyone.

And if you'd rather skip the prompting, Emero writes the prompts for you and remembers your look so you're not repeating yourself every chat. Everything's at cost.
