A snake brings an emerald bag in its jaws, plus the line that kept her gown a gown

Nano Banana Pro + Kling 3.0 - a snake carries an emerald coiled-serpent bag in its jaws

In today's "animal frames" series I did a test spot styled on Bulgari's look. A woman in an emerald gown waits in a white studio, a snake glides in with her bag in its jaws, and she crouches down to take it. Bulgari isn't a client, this was just a test. This post is about the snake, and about one line that stopped her gown from turning into trousers.

Here's my exact process.

1. The room

I wrote the empty studio from a prompt alone first. Window light from the left, long shadows, nobody in it. Then I ran it again with that image as the reference and only swapped the floor to white.

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image. This is a photograph taken inside a minimalist white studio from the start — not a composite. Shoot the whole space natively, with a single unified natural light source across every surface. THE VIBE: Austere, hushed, expensive emptiness — the pared-back quiet-luxury minimalism of a high-fashion campaign set before anything is placed in it. The room feels intellectual and cool, precise but not sterile, where the quality of light and the fall of a shadow are the only events. Stillness and generous negative space. THE SETTING: A clean, modern white studio — a seamless matte-white cyclorama sweep curving gently from floor to wall with no visible seam, its surface carrying the faintest real texture and tonal variation so it reads as painted plaster, not a flat digital void. A polished pale microcement floor with a soft satin sheen, subtle and almost imperceptible reflections. One tall floor-to-ceiling window just out of frame to the left. Architectural, uncluttered, refined proportions. THE LIGHT: Soft directional daylight raking in low from the left through the unseen window, casting long, clean, elongated geometric shadows across the white sweep and floor — the crisp diagonal of a window frame and mullions stretched across the wall. Gentle falloff from bright highlight to soft grey shadow, smooth gradients, no harsh clipping. Cool-neutral white balance with the faintest warmth where the sun lands. THE KEY DETAILS: The natural window-cast shadows are the subject — long, soft-edged diagonal bars and a rectangle of light on the floor. Delicate dust motes suspended in the light shaft. Subtle tonal gradation across the seamless wall. THE MOOD: Editorial, muted, cold-clinical calm with a breath of warmth. Restrained luxury. A clean neutral grade, whites held just off pure white, soft grey shadows, nothing oversaturated. THE COMPOSITION: Wide architectural frame, eye level, straight-on and balanced. Vast negative space with the shadows placed on a rule-of-thirds diagonal as the leading lines; low emphasis, open airy upper frame. THE CAMERA: Cinematic editorial architectural still — wide framing, eye-level straight position, deep focus with everything sharp edge to edge, lit exclusively by the single window daylight source with no studio strobes and no artificial separation, a clean cool-neutral naturalistic grade in the vein of Roger Deakins' understated natural light. Light falls off gently toward the frame edges. Hyperreal, tactile, every surface present.

Create a new photorealistic image, but the floor is now white. Preserve everything else from the reference exactly — the seamless matte-white cyclorama wall, the soft low directional daylight from the left, the long clean geometric window-cast shadows, the composition, framing, grade and mood all stay identical. THE FLOOR (CHANGED): The floor is now a clean matte white, continuous with the seamless white cyclorama sweep so wall and floor read as one unbroken white surface, no visible seam. A soft satin sheen with subtle, almost imperceptible reflections, the faintest real texture and tonal variation so it reads as painted plaster rather than a flat digital void — never pure clipped white. THE SETTING (LOCKED): The minimalist white studio, the seamless curving cyclorama, the tall floor-to-ceiling window just out of frame to the left. Do NOT redesign the environment. THE LIGHT (LOCKED): Soft directional daylight raking in low from the left, casting long, clean, elongated geometric window-frame and mullion shadows across the white sweep and now the white floor, with gentle falloff to soft grey and smooth gradients. Cool-neutral white balance with the faintest warmth where the sun lands. Delicate dust motes in the light shaft. THE MOOD (LOCKED): Editorial, muted, cold-clinical calm with a breath of warmth, restrained luxury, clean neutral grade, whites held just off pure white. THE COMPOSITION (LOCKED): Wide architectural frame, eye level, straight-on, vast negative space, the shadows on a rule-of-thirds diagonal as leading lines, open airy upper frame. THE CAMERA (LOCKED): Cinematic editorial architectural still, deep focus everything sharp edge to edge, lit exclusively by the single window daylight source, clean cool-neutral naturalistic grade, gentle edge falloff. Hyperreal and tactile.

2. Emerald and gold

Bulgari's Serpenti line is all about the snake, so the colour plan was easy: emerald and gold. I put her in a deep emerald silk-satin column gown with a yellow-gold Serpenti necklace and a matching coiled bracelet, both with little gemstone eyes. No product photos here, it's all from text. The empty studio was the only reference, just for the room and the light.

Cinematic editorial fashion still, 16:9. Same seamless matte-white cyclorama studio: white curved sweep melting into continuous matte-white floor, faint painted-plaster texture, soft satin floor sheen. Soft directional daylight raking in low from the LEFT, long clean geometric window-frame and mullion shadows to the RIGHT. Cool-neutral white balance, faintest warmth, dust motes in the light shaft. Roger Deakins naturalistic grade, deep focus. A woman stands in the LEFT third of the frame, vast white negative space filling the rest. Late twenties, tall, striking, warm golden-olive skin, glossy dark hair swept back sleek, bold sensual Roman-glamour makeup with a soft bronze eye. She wears a sculptural deep EMERALD-GREEN silk-satin column gown with a fluid draped silhouette, sophisticated and sensual. Statement solar-YELLOW-GOLD BVLGARI Serpenti jewelry: a bold coiled snake necklace with a stylized serpent head and gemstone eyes at the collarbone, and a matching coiled Serpenti bracelet. Rich Roman glamour, jewel-box opulence, gold against emerald. Poised confident stance, weight on one leg, one hand at her hip, gaze off to the LEFT toward the light. Sensual high-jewelry editorial, no large brand text.

3. Bring in the snake

Then the hand-off frame. The pose frame keeps her, and the empty studio keeps the room. The snake is text only: a big emerald serpent on the right with its head raised, and she's already crouched with the bag in her left hand while her right hand touches its head. The bag is an emerald Serpenti Forever with a jewelled snake-head clasp. I kept both of them small and low with lots of white above.

Cinematic editorial fashion still, 16:9, WIDE shot with small figures low in the frame and vast white negative space above. Same seamless matte-white cyclorama studio: white curved sweep into continuous matte-white floor, faint painted-plaster texture, soft satin sheen. Soft directional daylight raking in low from the LEFT, long clean geometric window shadows stretching to the RIGHT. Cool-neutral white balance, dust motes in the light. Roger Deakins naturalistic grade, deep focus. The same woman from the reference — late twenties, warm golden-olive skin, glossy dark hair swept back, bronze-glam makeup — is crouched low and graceful on the LEFT wearing the deep emerald-green silk-satin column gown and statement solar-yellow-gold BVLGARI Serpenti snake necklace and bracelet with gemstone eyes. On the RIGHT of the frame, an elegant emerald-green SNAKE — a large sleek serpent with glossy emerald-and-jewel-toned scales, raised head — is poised at floor level, calm and graceful, facing her. The snake has just delivered a structured emerald-green BVLGARI Serpenti Forever handbag with an iconic jewelled snake-head clasp, which the woman now holds in her LEFT hand at her side. Her RIGHT hand reaches out to gently touch the snake's raised head. Serene, sensual, tender moment. Both small in the lower third, enormous calm white space above. Rich Roman high-jewelry editorial, emerald and gold against white.

4. The wordmark

No logo file on this one. I had the model write BVLGARI on the wall from text and spelled it out letter by letter, B-V-L-G-A-R-I, with a classic V instead of a U. The pose frame gave it the room.

Black wordmark on the wall of an empty white studio, made with Nano Banana Pro

Exact prompt

Minimalist title card, 16:9. Reproduce the EXACT same white studio room as the reference image — identical matte-white cyclorama sweep and continuous matte-white floor, identical faint painted-plaster texture and satin floor sheen, identical soft daylight raking from the LEFT with the same long geometric window-frame shadows falling to the RIGHT, same cool-neutral white balance, same dust motes. Keep the room, light, and shadows exactly as that reference — just remove the person and animal so the studio is empty. Centered on the white wall, the wordmark "BVLGARI" as a flat crisp black title graphic — spelled exactly B-V-L-G-A-R-I with a classic V, in bold elegant classical Roman serif capitals, evenly spaced, perfectly level, sharp and centered. Nothing else in the frame — the empty studio exactly matching the reference, with the centered black BVLGARI logo. Editorial end-card.

5. She walks in

Empty room as the first frame, her pose as the last. She comes in from the right and settles in the left third. I said one single woman, because extra copies of people love to show up on walk-ins.

Kling 3.0$0.84

Exact prompt

Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single woman only — exactly one person in the frame at all times, no clones or duplicates. The empty white studio; the woman enters FROM THE RIGHT edge of the frame, walks across to the left, and settles into a poised sensual pose in the left third — weight on one leg, one hand coming to rest at her hip, head turning to gaze off to the left toward the light. Natural unhurried single-person walk, the emerald silk gown moving fluidly, gold Serpenti jewelry catching light, long window shadows steady on the floor. Rich Roman high-jewelry editorial. The frame is locked; no camera movement.

6. Bag in the jaws

Here's the fun part. The snake glides in from the right with the bag gripped in its jaws by the top handle. I named exactly where the bag sits in its mouth, and I asked for the bag to stay clearly in the snake's mouth as it comes over. Then she crouches, takes the bag with her left hand and touches its head with her right.

Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single woman, one snake — no duplicate figures or clones. The woman stands posed on the left. From the RIGHT edge, an elegant emerald-green snake glides smoothly into frame with its head raised, CARRYING the structured emerald-green BVLGARI Serpenti handbag gripped in its mouth/jaws by the top handle — the bag clearly held in the snake's mouth as it approaches. The snake brings the bag all the way to her; she lowers into a graceful crouch and gently takes the bag from the snake's mouth with her left hand, lowering it to her side, then reaches out with her right hand to softly touch the snake's raised head. Slow, sensual, tender motion. Both figures small and low in the frame, vast calm white space above. Rich emerald-and-gold high-jewelry editorial. The frame is locked; no camera movement.

7. Lock the gown

Quick warning: on walk-offs I've seen outfits swap mid-clip, like a gown turning into pants. So for this one I wrote it out plainly: the same long floor-length emerald gown the whole time, not trousers, not pants. She rises, she and the snake head off to the right, and the wordmark snaps on all at once while she's still mid-stride.

Kling 3.0$0.84

Exact prompt

Static locked camera, no camera movement. ONE single woman, one snake — no duplicate figures or clones. She wears the SAME long floor-length emerald-green silk-satin column GOWN throughout — a full-length flowing dress, NOT trousers, NOT pants, the gown never changes. The woman, emerald Serpenti bag in hand, rises and turns, and she and the snake move off together toward the RIGHT, slow and unhurried, her long emerald gown flowing as she walks. While she is still mid-stride exiting right, the BVLGARI wordmark appears ALL AT ONCE in a single instant, snapping into place fully formed and centred over the frame as a flat crisp black title graphic spelled B-V-L-G-A-R-I — NOT fading or dissolving in. It holds perfectly still and sharp as she finishes exiting right, and the frame resolves to the clean white studio with the centred black BVLGARI logo. The frame is locked; no camera movement.

8. Put it together

I asked Emero to join the three clips in order. Any video editor works for this too.

Why it works

This one turned out to be one of the best performers in the whole series. When I looked at what the winners had in common, it was two things together: a saturated colour that pops against the white, and an animal doing something it could never do. A snake handing over a handbag is about as impossible as it gets.

Your turn: pick an animal that has no hands and give it a job only hands could do. Then say exactly where it holds the thing.

And if you don't wanna write all of these rules out yourself, Emero writes the prompts and remembers what worked for you, at cost.
