Nano Banana Pro + Kling 3.0 - getting a giant rabbit to hop, not walk

A Flemish Giant rabbit hops in with a lime bucket hat in its mouth for a man in blue and magenta

Nano Banana Pro + Kling 3.0 - getting a giant rabbit to hop, not walk

In today's "animal frames" series I did a spot for Psycho Bunny. A guy in a royal-blue polo and hot-magenta shorts stands in a white studio, and a huge Flemish Giant rabbit hops in with a lime-green bucket hat in its mouth. Psycho Bunny isn't a client, this one's just a test. The hard part was the rabbit: it had to hop, not walk, and hand the hat over with its mouth, not its paws.

Here's my exact process.

1. Build the room

A prompt-only white studio with a window on the left. Then one more pass for a white floor.

Exact prompt

Create a new photorealistic image. This is a photograph taken inside a minimalist white studio from the start — not a composite. Shoot the whole space natively, with a single unified natural light source across every surface. THE VIBE: Austere, hushed, expensive emptiness — the pared-back quiet-luxury minimalism of a high-fashion campaign set before anything is placed in it. The room feels intellectual and cool, precise but not sterile, where the quality of light and the fall of a shadow are the only events. Stillness and generous negative space. THE SETTING: A clean, modern white studio — a seamless matte-white cyclorama sweep curving gently from floor to wall with no visible seam, its surface carrying the faintest real texture and tonal variation so it reads as painted plaster, not a flat digital void. A polished pale microcement floor with a soft satin sheen, subtle and almost imperceptible reflections. One tall floor-to-ceiling window just out of frame to the left. Architectural, uncluttered, refined proportions. THE LIGHT: Soft directional daylight raking in low from the left through the unseen window, casting long, clean, elongated geometric shadows across the white sweep and floor — the crisp diagonal of a window frame and mullions stretched across the wall. Gentle falloff from bright highlight to soft grey shadow, smooth gradients, no harsh clipping. Cool-neutral white balance with the faintest warmth where the sun lands. THE KEY DETAILS: The natural window-cast shadows are the subject — long, soft-edged diagonal bars and a rectangle of light on the floor. Delicate dust motes suspended in the light shaft. Subtle tonal gradation across the seamless wall. THE MOOD: Editorial, muted, cold-clinical calm with a breath of warmth. Restrained luxury. A clean neutral grade, whites held just off pure white, soft grey shadows, nothing oversaturated. THE COMPOSITION: Wide architectural frame, eye level, straight-on and balanced. Vast negative space with the shadows placed on a rule-of-thirds diagonal as the leading lines; low emphasis, open airy upper frame. THE CAMERA: Cinematic editorial architectural still — wide framing, eye-level straight position, deep focus with everything sharp edge to edge, lit exclusively by the single window daylight source with no studio strobes and no artificial separation, a clean cool-neutral naturalistic grade in the vein of Roger Deakins' understated natural light. Light falls off gently toward the frame edges. Hyperreal, tactile, every surface present.

Create a new photorealistic image, but the floor is now white. Preserve everything else from the reference exactly — the seamless matte-white cyclorama wall, the soft low directional daylight from the left, the long clean geometric window-cast shadows, the composition, framing, grade and mood all stay identical. THE FLOOR (CHANGED): The floor is now a clean matte white, continuous with the seamless white cyclorama sweep so wall and floor read as one unbroken white surface, no visible seam. A soft satin sheen with subtle, almost imperceptible reflections, the faintest real texture and tonal variation so it reads as painted plaster rather than a flat digital void — never pure clipped white. THE SETTING (LOCKED): The minimalist white studio, the seamless curving cyclorama, the tall floor-to-ceiling window just out of frame to the left. Do NOT redesign the environment. THE LIGHT (LOCKED): Soft directional daylight raking in low from the left, casting long, clean, elongated geometric window-frame and mullion shadows across the white sweep and now the white floor, with gentle falloff to soft grey and smooth gradients. Cool-neutral white balance with the faintest warmth where the sun lands. Delicate dust motes in the light shaft. THE MOOD (LOCKED): Editorial, muted, cold-clinical calm with a breath of warmth, restrained luxury, clean neutral grade, whites held just off pure white. THE COMPOSITION (LOCKED): Wide architectural frame, eye level, straight-on, vast negative space, the shadows on a rule-of-thirds diagonal as leading lines, open airy upper frame. THE CAMERA (LOCKED): Cinematic editorial architectural still, deep focus everything sharp edge to edge, lit exclusively by the single window daylight source, clean cool-neutral naturalistic grade, gentle edge falloff. Hyperreal and tactile.

2. The palette and the rabbit

Psycho Bunny's logo is a bunny skull with crossbones, so a rabbit was the obvious pick. I went with a real Flemish Giant, a big breed, at true size, about knee to thigh on him. Big, but not cartoon big. The colors come from their catalogue: a royal-blue polo (#1F56D6), hot-magenta shorts (#E0218A) and a lime-green bucket hat.

3. The pose, and a room problem

This one burned me. My first pose frame off the bare studio came back without the window and the mirror on the left, so it didn't match the rest of the series. The fix: I used the pose frame from my Vilebrequin spot as the room reference instead, and told the model to keep the window, the diagonal light and the mirror on the left. Outfit is text with the hex codes.

PREAMBLE: A luxury fashion-campaign still in a clean white studio — the opening pose frame of a men's spot. Vibrant, premium, playful-preppy energy. Keep the EXACT studio from the reference image. THE VIBE: High-end streetwear-meets-country-club. Bright, saturated, scroll-stopping color against pure white. THE SUBJECT: ONE single male model, mid-20s, athletic, short modern haircut, light stubble. Standing at rest, confident, relaxed. No clones, exactly one person. THE FACE: Handsome, friendly, easy confidence. Looking toward camera. THE OUTFIT: A vivid ROYAL-BLUE signature piqué polo (#1F56D6), crisp and saturated, worn tucked. Paired with HOT-MAGENTA tailored shorts (#E0218A). Clean white low-top sneakers. A bold two-color pop — royal blue top, magenta bottom. THE ANIMAL: None in this frame. No animal. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED FROM REFERENCE — MATCH EXACTLY): The exact same seamless white cyclorama studio as the reference image — including the tall WINDOW on the LEFT with soft daylight raking diagonally across the floor, and the mirror/bright reflection on the left wall. Keep the window, the diagonal light, and the left-side mirror exactly as in the reference. Same white floor, same floor-to-wall curve. Do NOT flatten it to a plain white room. THE LIGHT: Soft daylight entering from the left-side window, casting the signature diagonal light-and-shadow pattern across the white floor, exactly like the reference. THE KEY DETAILS: Saturated color is the hero. Lots of clean white negative space to his right (open floor for the animal to enter later). THE COMPOSITION: WIDE framing. The model stands SMALL in the LEFT THIRD of the frame, full-body, plenty of white space around and to the right of him. Low on the floor, big airy negative space above. THE CAMERA: Straight-on, eye-level, static. 16:9.

4. Rabbit with the hat

Two passes. First, the pose frame as the only reference and the rabbit from text, holding the hat up toward him. Then I fed that frame back in and changed one thing: his fingers wrapped around the brim, so his hand is actually on the hat and not reaching into empty air.

PREAMBLE: A luxury fashion-campaign still — the delivery beat of a men's spot. The same studio and model from the reference image, now with a large rabbit delivering the hat. Vibrant, premium, playful. THE VIBE: High-end streetwear-meets-country-club with a surreal twist — an oversized-but-real rabbit presenting the signature item. THE SUBJECT: The SAME single male model from the reference — vivid royal-blue polo, hot-magenta shorts, white sneakers — now standing in the left third, turning slightly toward the rabbit on his right, reaching to accept the hat. THE FACE: Same handsome model, delighted easy smile, looking toward the rabbit/hat. THE ANIMAL: A REALISTIC large adult Flemish Giant rabbit (a genuinely big rabbit breed — body roughly knee-to-thigh height on the man, NOT cartoonishly oversized), soft grey-brown fur, upright alert ears, entering from the RIGHT. It holds a vibrant LIME-GREEN bucket hat, presenting it up toward the man. The rabbit sits/stands on the white floor to the man's right, mid-frame. THE OUTFIT: Royal-blue polo (#1F56D6) + hot-magenta shorts (#E0218A) + white sneakers. The delivered item is a lime-green bucket hat. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED FROM REFERENCE — MATCH EXACTLY): The exact same white cyclorama studio as the reference — tall WINDOW on the LEFT with the diagonal daylight across the floor, bright reflective left wall, same white floor and floor-to-wall curve. Keep the window and light exactly. THE LIGHT: Soft daylight from the left window, signature diagonal light-and-shadow across the floor. THE KEY DETAILS: Saturated color is the hero (blue + magenta + lime hat). The rabbit is clearly offering the hat — clear handoff reading. THE COMPOSITION: WIDE framing. Man small in the LEFT THIRD, the large rabbit mid-frame to his right presenting the hat, open white space maintained. Figures low on the floor, big airy negative space above. THE CAMERA: Straight-on, eye-level, static. 16:9.

Man gripping a lime-green bucket hat held by a large rabbit, made with Nano Banana Pro
Nano Banana Pro$0.13

Exact prompt

PREAMBLE: Keep this image EXACTLY as the reference — same studio, same model, same large Flemish Giant rabbit, same lime-green bucket hat, same wide framing and lighting. Change ONLY the man's hand and the hat contact as described. THE CHANGE: The man has stepped a touch closer and now has his hand FIRMLY ON the lime-green bucket hat — fingers clearly gripping the brim of the hat, in the act of taking it. The hat is held upright between his hand and the rabbit, the man's fingers wrapped around the brim. His hand is physically touching and holding the hat, not reaching toward empty space. KEEP UNCHANGED: the same realistic large Flemish Giant rabbit (same size, same upright ears, same position to his right), the lime-green bucket hat, the royal-blue polo (#1F56D6) and hot-magenta shorts (#E0218A), white sneakers, his delighted smile, the white cyclorama studio with the tall window and diagonal daylight on the left, the wide framing with the man in the left third and open white space. Do not change the room, the palette, or the rabbit. THE CAMERA: Straight-on, eye-level, static. 16:9.

5. Logo card

The pose frame for the room plus the real Psycho Bunny logo as a transparent PNG. I asked it to remove the man, keep the window, and put the logo in once. It rendered once, clean.

Psycho Bunny skull-and-crossbones logo in an empty white studio, made with Nano Banana Pro

Exact prompt

A brand end-card: the empty white studio with the real Psycho Bunny logo snapped cleanly onto it. THE VIBE: The final frame of a vibrant menswear spot — the airy white studio emptied of people, the brand signature resolving at center. Premium, playful, bold. THE SUBJECT: NO people, NO animal. Remove the man entirely. Just the pristine empty white studio and the logo. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED FROM FIRST REFERENCE): The exact same seamless white cyclorama studio from the first reference image — same soft white floor, same tall WINDOW on the LEFT with the diagonal daylight across the floor, same bright reflective left wall, same floor-to-wall curve. Keep the window and the diagonal light. Do not change the room. Just empty it of the person. THE LOGO: The second reference image is the official Psycho Bunny logo (the black bunny-skull-and-crossbones emblem above the "PSYCHO BUNNY" wordmark). Place it centered, horizontally, in the middle of the frame. Render the logo and wordmark EXACTLY ONCE — one single clean logo, crisp and sharp, true to the reference. ABSOLUTELY NO second copy, no echo, no faint duplicate, no reflection, no mirrored or repeated emblem or text anywhere in the frame. Keep it solid black, evenly weighted, perfectly legible. THE LIGHT: Soft daylight from the left window, the signature diagonal light-and-shadow across the clean white floor. THE KEY DETAILS: Lots of clean negative space around the logo. The emblem + wordmark sit as the single hero element. THE COMPOSITION: Centered, balanced, minimal. Logo in the center, open white space around it. THE CAMERA: Straight-on, eye-level, static. 16:9.

6. Walk-in

Empty room to pose frame in three short scenes, with his pose landing only at the very end.

A luxury resort-fashion spot, segment 1 of 3: the model walks into the white studio from the right and settles into his opening pose. High subject motion, locked camera. THE STARTING FRAME: the empty seamless white studio — soft white floor, tall window on the left with diagonal daylight, even light, no people. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED FROM FRAME): the exact same white cyclorama studio throughout — same floor, same window and diagonal light on the left. The room never changes. [SCENE 1] The empty studio holds for a beat. Then a male model steps briskly into frame from the RIGHT edge — vivid royal-blue polo, hot-magenta shorts, white sneakers. He is mid-stride, confident, entering. [SCENE 2] He continues walking leftward across the white floor, relaxed resort swagger, arms swinging naturally, covering ground toward the left third of the frame. [SCENE 3] He arrives at the left third and settles: weight shifting onto one leg, body squaring gently to camera, coming to rest in his opening pose exactly as the final frame. He lands his pose only here, at the very end. THE CAMERA: straight-on, eye-level, static. 16:9. Land change only at the end.

7. Hop, mouth, handoff

I wanted it to move like a real rabbit, so I wrote it in caps: the rabbit HOPS in distinct bounds, pushing off its hind legs, and carries the hat in its MOUTH, not its paws.

Quick warning on budget models. I tested a cheaper video model on this spot first, on the walk-in and this clip. The simple walk-in was fine. The hop and the mouth handoff fell apart. So all three final clips went back to the model I use for the rest of the series.

A luxury resort-fashion spot, segment 2 of 3: a large rabbit HOPS in from the right carrying the brand's lime-green bucket hat in its MOUTH and delivers it; the man takes hold of it. High subject motion, locked camera. THE STARTING FRAME: the male model stands at rest in the left third — royal-blue polo, hot-magenta shorts, white sneakers. Empty white studio to his right, tall window and diagonal daylight on the left. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED FROM FRAME): the exact same white cyclorama studio throughout — same floor, same window and light on the left. The room never changes. [SCENE 1] A realistic large adult Flemish Giant rabbit HOPS into frame from the RIGHT — bounding in distinct rabbit hops, pushing off its hind legs, body rising and falling with each hop — carrying a vibrant lime-green bucket hat clamped in its MOUTH. The man turns his head toward it, noticing with a smile. [SCENE 2] The rabbit hops closer in a couple more bounds and settles beside him on his right, still holding the lime-green bucket hat in its MOUTH, lifting its head to offer it up to him. The man begins to lean down, reaching toward the hat. [SCENE 3] The man takes hold of the lime-green bucket hat, fingers gripping the brim, lifting it from the rabbit's mouth — settling into the exact final frame. He connects with the hat only here, at the very end. THE CAMERA: straight-on, eye-level, static. 16:9. Land change only at the end. The rabbit HOPS (never walks), and carries/gives the hat with its MOUTH (not its paws).

8. Hop off

He puts the hat on and they head off to the right, and I said again that the rabbit hops beside him the whole way. Then the logo snaps on.

A luxury resort-fashion spot, segment 3 of 3: the man takes the hat and puts it on, he and the rabbit head off to the right together, the studio empties, and the brand logo snaps on. High subject motion, locked camera. THE STARTING FRAME: the man bent toward the large Flemish Giant rabbit beside him on his right, his hand gripping the brim of the lime-green bucket hat, lifting it from the rabbit. Empty white studio to the right, tall window and diagonal daylight on the left. THE SETTING (UNCHANGED FROM FRAME): the exact same white cyclorama studio throughout — same floor, same window and light on the left. The room never changes. [SCENE 1] The man lifts the lime-green bucket hat clear and straightens up, settling it onto his head with an easy grin. The rabbit shifts its weight, turning to face the RIGHT. [SCENE 2] Man and rabbit move off together toward the RIGHT edge of frame — the man strolling, the rabbit HOPPING in distinct bounds beside him — both exiting cleanly out the right side. No sliding, no moonwalk; the man takes natural forward steps and the rabbit hops forward. [SCENE 3] The studio is now empty — pristine white floor, window light on the left, no people and no rabbit. The black Psycho Bunny logo (bunny-skull-and-crossbones emblem with pink ears above the "Psycho Bunny" wordmark) snaps crisply onto the center of the frame, exactly once, matching the final frame. One clean logo, no echo, no duplicate. THE CAMERA: straight-on, eye-level, static. 16:9. Land change only at the end.

Why it works

Naming the exact gait and the exact body part, in caps, tells the clip what to do with the rabbit. And the cheap test showed me the line: a budget model is fine for one person walking, not for multi-beat animal action.

Your turn: write down how your animal actually moves, in one word, and put it in caps in your clip prompt.

Emero writes prompts like these for you and remembers what worked, at cost.
